This may come as a surprise to you, but in our latest video we decided to make a homemade weapon. It seems almost completely crazy that we would test some dangerous thing that we heard about in passing on the internet and ...

Just kidding -- welcome to The Modern Rogue.

A while back we made some homemade slingshots using balloons, key rings and BBs, and the results were pretty surprising. If blowing up a soda can with a tiny, metal, spherical object is possible, just imagine what you could achieve after upgrading to something pointy and stabby! Actually, don’t do that -- it’s a bad idea.

One that we tried, because not only do we love throwing caution to the wind, we prefer launching it directly at a tornado using everyday household items. Now, we didn’t get the results we would have liked, but there could be something we’re missing here. A longer bottle? Sturdier gloves? Giant rubber bands and ancient Mongolian spears?

Maybe disposable wooden skewers propelled by latex gloves won’t make you feel like an Assassin’s Creed character, but it could transform you into a point-blank range foam target destroyer. Which is ... something, we guess.
